The original cardboard photo of the shiny Mew by Aurelius Florence

Aurelius was born in 09/10/1801 and he grew up in a very traditional family, based in London.

Aurelius started training and collecting Pokémon at a very young age, he was 12 when he decided to be emancipated and travel all around the world, pursuing his dream: become the ultimate Pokémon collector.

He became, the youngest Professor pokémon we have ever hear about and he also helped tons of trainers to achieve their own goals.

It’s well know that Aurelius Florence was the first professor Pokémon to have a full completed Pokédex. His last and most difficult creature to obtain was Mew. After thousands of travels, sometimes going to the most inhospitable places in the world, Aurelius had his first encounter with it:

“It was the end of the afternoon when we arrived at the Faraway Island, an almost lost Island in the Hoenn Region. I decided to have a walk around the forest and after 10 minutes walking alone, I thought I was exposed to a Pokémon manifesting a very rare phenomenon called Illumina, but I was mesmerizingly wrong: In front of me… MEW just appeared, surrounded by colorful bubbles. And its color… Mew wasn’t pink, but BLUE!”

What happened after that became history: we are going to bring these important events during the next few weeks. The academy is restoring important documents related to the shiny Mew capture, the first original photo, registering that moment and a complete time line with the series of events from the capture until the big accident, which lead to the complete destruction of Aurelius home.
